When people give you a lot of help, what do you do? You don’t just say a quick thank you, but instead, you visit them and thank them properly or you send them a little gift. You try and show them as clearly as possible how grateful you are for their help. It is for this reason that we have come together today. We want to thank God and show him how grateful we are for what he has done for us. A good way of showing your gratitude to God is to ask him for forgiveness for all those times when we were ungrateful to him.
GOSPEL – Luke 17: 11 – 19
As Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem, he traveled through Samaria and Galilee. As he was entering a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance from him and raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!” And when he saw them, he said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” As they were going they were cleansed. And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. Jesus said in reply, “Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine? Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?” Then he said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has saved you.”

During the youth camp, the Men of the Parish will be hosting a youth empowerment and development session. Youth and matriculants from various schools will be invited. WORLD MISSION SUNDAY 23/10/2022
Open-air Mass at the parking lot in Francis Rd. Procession from RPP 8am. Rosary will be recited during the procession. NB: There WILL be Mass on Saturday evening (22/10) @ 5:30pm @ RPP for the elderly. All other parishioners are encouraged to attend Mass on Sunday. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN DRINKING WATER!!
