27th SUNDAY OF THE YEAR: CYCLE 

INTRODUCTION

What brought us together this morning is
our faith. Each one of us has joined this community because of our faith in Jesus Christ. But although we already have faith, there are still many questions in our minds regarding our faith. How should faith be
visible in our daily lives? What does faith mean when we are in difficulties? How can we grow in faith? During our mass today we will reflect on these questions about our faith.

GOSPEL – Luke 17: 5 – 10

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. “Who among you would say to your servant who has just come in from plowing or tending sheep in the field, ‘Come here immediately and take your place at the table’? Would he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat. Put on your apron and wait on me while I eat and drink. You may eat and drink when I am finished’? Is he grateful to that servant because he did what was commanded? So should it be with you. When you have done all you have been commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants; we have done what we were

obliged to do.'”.

CATECHISM CLASSES

Are now closed and will resume on 17th of October.

PARISH MISSION THEMES

A Parish mission will take place from 24 October until 2 November 2025.

Themes during the week will be as follows

• Mon: The Love of God
• Tue: God’s Mercy Wednesday: Healing
• Thu: The Eucharist
• Fri: Marriage and Family Life

The times for morning Masses and Mission Services will be shared closer to the time.
